Release notes and installation guide for Macintosh

Installation

The distribution is a .hqx file containing a self-extracting archive (the .hqx file can be expanded with a shareware program like StuffitExpander). The archive then expands into a folder containing the program. Simply place the folder anywhere on your hard-disk, and run the program from within that folder.

You need a Macintosh (PowerPC) with system 7.1 or later and 3-4Mb of free RAM to run the program (more memory is recommended).

Limitations

Some of the libraries are not supported in this version. (tcltk, sockets, linda, gauge, timeout) The system library has limited functionality. Pipes and process related predicates are not working.

Tcl/Tk is not supported.
