The following are known issues with this release of SICStus. Unless otherwise noted they will probably not be fixed in SICStus 3. This is not a complete list, many more issues have been fixed in SICStus 4.
system:environ/2 will silently fail if it
encounters an environment variable with a name or value that contains
non-ASCII characters. Fixed in SICStus 4.
