There is no "crypt" program on my Linux machine. How do I unpack the SICStus distributions?

The crypt program is not included in Linux-distributions since the code in it is not free. A replacement can be downloaded from

     ftp://ftp.sics.se/archive/sicstus3/aux/crypt.tar.gz
     

Download it, unpack it and follow the instructions in README.
