8.2.1 Windows

Under Windows, you should ensure that SICStus Prolog’s and Java’s DLL directories are on your %PATH%. This will enable Windows library search method to locate all relevant DLLs. For SICStus, this is the same as where sicstus.exe is located, something like C:\Program Files\SICStus Prolog VC16 4.9.0\bin. For Java it must include the folder where jvm.dll is located.

For example:

C:\> set PATH="C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-9.0.4\bin\server;%PATH%"
C:\> set PATH="C:\Program Files\SICStus Prolog VC16 4.9.0\bin;%PATH%"

To make this change permanent you would use the ‘Advanced’ tab in the ‘System’ Control Panel. Consult your OS documentation for details.
